Job Description: Odoo Developer
An Odoo Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo-based business applications and systems. This role involves working on both back-end and front-end development to ensure that the Odoo ERP system operates efficiently according to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Odoo Module Development: Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on business needs. This includes both standard and custom modules for CRM, Accounting, Sales, Inventory, HR, etc.
  • Customization and Integration: Customize Odoo ERP functionalities, create new business flows, and integrate third-party apps or APIs (e.g., payment gateways, eCommerce platforms, etc.).
  • Database Management: Handle Odoo database structure, SQL queries, and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) features for effective data management and manipulation.
  • Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, debug code issues, and optimize performance. Ensure high-quality deliverables and troubleshoot software bugs.
  • Front-End Development: Develop and customize front-end components (views, forms, templates) using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Collaboration with Business Analysts: Work closely with business analysts and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide support and maintenance for existing Odoo systems, ensure timely resolution of issues, and assist with version upgrades and migrations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, workflows, and new features for future reference.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Optional Skills (Advantageous):
  • Knowledge of Odoo implementation and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
  • Understanding of business processes like CRM, Inventory, and Accounting.
